A project to build 1,900 homes in Torrox has been reinitiated a decade after it was pulled due to Spain's financial crisis.

Puerto Narixa is located near the historic centre of Torrox and on the border with neighbouring Nerja.

The project was presented at this month's World Travel Market in London as "ecological and sustainable".
