Around a thousand people joined the Fridays for Future march in Malaga on Friday in support of the international campaign in protest at the lack of action against climate change.

Thanks to protesters of all ages Malaga became one of 60 towns and cities in Spain to join the campaign started by 15-year-old Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg, who sat outside the Swedish parliament every day for three weeks, last year calling for more action.

More secondary school students in Malaga province went on strike on Friday to support the campaign in defence of the planet.
