Intu opens new office ahead of start to building work on mega Torremolinos leisure complex

The British developers of the mega entertainment complex planned for Torremolinos have set up a permanent office in readiness to start the project.

Intu now has staff working out of the Palacio de Congresos, which is next to the 30-hectare site where it will build its 600-million-euro leisure park.

The project, which is waiting for final planning approval from the regional government, is expected to create 2,500 direct and indirect jobs while it is being built and 4,500 once open.
