The town council in Marbella is to carry out urgent repairs to over 40 local streets because of the poor state of the surfaces. Helped by a grant from the Diputación provincial authority, the work will target potholes, cracks and uneven surfaces once the busy summer season is over.
The work, which will cover streets in all districts of the municipality is set to last six months and the council is already looking at a similar plan for next year as well.
Among key roads to get a makeover is Avenida Ricardo Soriano in the centre.
