Mijas council forced to pay out 360,000 euros to staff

According to sources, the amounts relate to decisions under the previous PP administration

Mijas council has been told it has to pay 360,000 euros in compensation to staff for irregularities in employment contracts and conditions.

According to sources, the amounts relate to decisions under the previous PP administration and include 233,000 euros for recontracting media staff as self-employed and 60,000 for illegally transferring the contracts of racecourse staff.
