As he promised when his Marbella restaurant was given its third Michelin star this time last year, chef Dani García served his last customers at his haute cuisine venue last week. Less than 48 hours after celebrating an emotional "last supper" with friends and many of Spain's best known chefs, García revealed some of his new projects during a talk on Monday at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián. These include his new burger with truffle sauce now available at McDonald's restaurants, and a return to New York, a city where his Manzanilla project was a flop five years ago. This time he goes back with three brands, two fast food and one Mediterranean cuisine.
