Armistice Day ceremony at Parliament House

There will be a two-minute silence followed by the firing of a gun

Armistice Day on 11 November will be marked in Gibraltar as usual with a short ceremony at the lobby of Parliament House. The two-minute silence will be marked by the firing of a gun by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment at 11am. A bugler will then sound the Last Post, and wreaths will be laid.

The ceremony will be led by the mayor, Christian Santos, with Guards of Honour from the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and local branch of the Royal British Legion.
