The British low-cost airline Easyjet will open a new operational base at the Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport on 8 June and to celebrate the event it has launched a unique campaign in the capital of the Costa del Sol that will allow a lucky few to travel for free from Malaga to European destinations.

Under the slogan 'Catch your flight', the company will hide five orange envelopes in the streets of Malaga city centre, this Thursday (20 May), each containing two roundtrip flights for the person who finds them.

To locate them, the airline says that it will give clues on social media.

The first envelope will appear at 10am, followed by others at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm and 2pm.

EasyJet says that anyone who wants to win one of the envelopes will have to keep an eye on the EasyJet Spain Instagram profile for the clues to where they are located.

The company has said: «The five fastest people who manage to get hold of one of the orange envelopes hidden in emblematic places of the city will be able to enjoy a unique experience in one of the European cities on the EasyJet network and share it with whoever they wish. London, Paris or Geneva are some of the destinations to which they will be able to travel within a year, as the voucher is valid until May 2022.»
