More than 90% of the target population in Andalucía is fully jabbed against Covid-19

Of the 7,451,975 people in the target population some 6,887,165 have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, leaving 564,810 people unvaccinated in the region

By the middle of this week the Junta de Andalucía had administered a total of 13,139,676 doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the region, and a total of 6,766,758 people now have the complete vaccination schedule, while 6,887,165 have already have had at least one dose.

According to Junta figures the region has 79.9 per cent of the population with the complete vaccination schedule, and 90.8 per cent of the target group over 12 years of age, while 81.3 per cent of the population and 92.4 per cent of those over 12 years of age have received the first dose.

The target population in Andalucía is 7,451,975, leaving some 564,810 people still to be Covid jabbed in the region.

Age groups

Based on data from the regional government’s Strategic Vaccination Plan, one hundred percent of people in Andalucía over 60 years of age have had two doses of the vaccine.

As for the rest of the age groups, the number of people fully jabbed between 50 and 59 years old is 95.6 per cent; from 40 to 49 years old, some 90.8 per cent have had at least one dose and 89.6 per cent the complete schedule; from 30 to 39 years old, 82.3 per cent have had at least one dose and 80 per cent both; from 20 to 29 years old, 83.5 per cent have had a single dose and 80.4 per cent the complete regimen; from 12 to 19 years old, 88.8 per cent have had at least one dose and 86.4 per cent have completed the regimen.
