Some 216 new coronavirus infections have been registered in Andalucía this Wednesday, 13 October, fewer than the 232 on Tuesday and the 264 recorded a week ago, according to data from the region’s Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA).
For the first time in more than three months, specifically since 1 July this year, the Junta organisation has not registered any Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The region’s coronavirus 14-day cumulative incidence rate stands at 29.6 per 100,000 inhabitants, dropping 1.8 in 24 hours and 8.8 in a week, so Andalucía continues at a low risk level for the virus.
The 216 infections this Wednesday are registered after the 232 on Tuesday, 171 on Monday and Sunday, 236 on Saturday, 221 on Friday, 287 on Thursday and 264 last Wednesday.
Malaga is the province that has registered the most infections this Wednesday with 48, followed by Seville with 40, Huelva (36), Almeria (27), Granada (25), Cadiz (16), Jaén (13) and Cordoba with eleven.
