The Andalusian region has registered a total of 171 coronavirus infections this Monday, 11 October, the lowest figure since the 138 recorded on 30 March, according to data from the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA).
The Junta organisation has also recorded one Covid-19 death, the lowest number since 26 July, when there was also one.
The region’s 14-day cumulative incidence rate for the disease stands at 32 per 100,000 inhabitants and continues at a low risk level for coronavirus, dropping 1.1 in 48 hours and 10.7 in a week.
The 171 positives this Monday and Sunday are registered after the 236 on Saturday, 221 on Friday, 287 on Thursday, 264 on Wednesday, 218 on Tuesday and 199 last Monday and Sunday.
Malaga and Almeria are the provinces that register the most infections with 42 each, followed by Huelva with 23, Cordoba (17), Granada (16), Seville and Cádiz (14 each) and Jaén with three.
The only coronavirus death registered in the last 48 hours was in Cadiz.
