Fans of the 1980s pop and rock music scene will enjoy a special tribute night at the Teatro Las Lagunas in Mijas Costa on Saturday 3 April. Organised as part of Ocio Music's Festival of Legends series, the show will present tributes to Tina Turner and The Eurythmics, two of the most celebrated pop legends of the 1980s.

Italian singer Jessica Brizio will take to the stage complete with a full band to present her raunchy live show dedicated to the undisputed 'queen of rock', complete with iconic hits like Simply the Best and Private Dancer.

The 40-year-old Granada-based entertainer trained as a gospel singer and she manages to recreate Turner's incredible voice, while also capturing her powerful energy and spectacular stage presence.

Jessica will return for the second part of the show for her tribute to the unmistakable voice of Annie Lennox, lead singer of The Eurythmics, who received global success with hits like Who's That Girl, Thorn in My Side and Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).

Tickets for the concert cost 15 euros in advance or 20 euros on the door and are available by calling 633 647 260 or online (www.eventbrite.es). Tickets can also be obtained from El Corte Inglés or Rubens Exchange offices.

The show begins at 7pm, but organisers have stressed that the start time might change depending on Covid restrictions.
