The Andalusian Rescue Centre for Horses (ARCH) is holding an open day at its refuge centre in Alhaurín El Grande on Sunday 20 December.

The event, which will begin at 9am and continue until 4.30pm, will offer visitors the chance to meet the horses, ponies and donkeys that are currently in the charity's care. Volunteers will be on hand to give grooming demonstrations and to discuss adoption policies and ways in which people can become involved with the charity.

The open day will offer plenty to keep the children occupied, including a visit by Father Christmas (2pm); while the popular Phoenix Singers will perform a special festive concert at 3pm. The current Covid-19 health and safety measures will be enforced. Pets will not be admitted.
