The UK's top Simply Red tribute is coming to Benalmádena on Saturday 7 March. Held in the Moonlight Show Bar at the Sunset Beach Club Hotel, the show features amazing sound-alike Red Mick, who will perform many of Simply Red's greatest hits, including Money's Too Tight to Mention, Something Got Me Started and Holding Back the Years.
Red Mick, who also looks incredibly like Mick Hucknall, has performed all over the UK recreating the band's sensational sound, and he has received rave reviews for his "stunning vocal quality".
Born in Wales, the 53-year-old singer started performing as a soprano in the local choir at the age of nine. He went on to tour the UK with several show bands during the 1990s and has been performing the Simply Red tribute for more than 20 years.
Simply Red hit the UK music scene in the middle of the 1980s and went on to become one of Britain's most successful chart acts. The band's success was largely due to the talents of vocalist Mick Hucknall, described as "the most prodigious voice this side of Motown".
Tickets for the show, which starts at 8.30pm, cost 15 euros and are available from the reception desk at Sunset Beach Club, or online from www.ticketsource.eu/bigmpromotions
