The Welsh Society of the Costa del Sol is preparing to celebrate the feast of Saint David with a fundraising event at CJs Bar in Benalmádena on 1 March.

As usual, the Saint Davids Day party, which will begin at 2pm, will include live performances by some of the coasts top artists, along with childrens activities and traditional Welsh cuisine.

Among the line-up of musicians already booked to appear are The Jersey Boys, Banana Studios, Siobahn, Lenny Dee, Laura Ellen and Beverly Fox.

CJs owner Cath Johns, also renowned for her incredible vocal talent, will make a special appearance with Mama Cath and the Soul Sisters, who will entertain with a tribute to soul and Motown.

The Welsh Society uses the event to raise money for local causes and this year they have chosen to support Della Hall, a mother of two who has suffered with motor neurone disease for more than three years.
