The municipal auditorium in La Paloma park in Benalmádena will host a special tribute concert that will recreate the sounds and ambience of the 1980s pop music scene on Friday, 30 August.
The three-hour concert will present celebrated Spanish band Green Covers, who are currently touring Spain with a show that pays tribute to some of Britain's most-admired alternative pop groups.
The Valencia-based group are renowned for authentically recreating the live shows of U2, Depeche Mode and The Cure, using a combination of meticulously-engineered sound and stunning visual effects. The band has been together for five years and in that time they have acquired a cult following.
Green Covers are currently on a summer tour that will take them to Barcelona, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Madrid and Toledo.
The Benalmádena show, which begins at 9pm, is organised by BigM Promotions and the town hall and is expected to attract a large crowd so reservations are advised.
Tickets cost 20¤ on the door or 14¤ in advance or online .
