  • The Azarquía countryside is the subject of Guerra's works

The Vélez-Málaga artist Evaristo Guerra is displaying around thirty of his recent works in the Casa Fuerte de Bezmiliana in Rincón de Victoria.

It is twenty years since his last exhibition here in 1999. He has dedicated the exhibition to his great friend, the SUR poet and writer, Manuel Alcántara who passed away last April.

The subject of the oils, drawings, prints and serigraphs is the countryside of his 'beloved' Axarquía in which the colour and natural landscapes are represented in the artists inimitable style.

The exhibition is open until 30 August.
