José María Baco
Vélez-Málaga. Until 5 July. Sala El Pósito, Plaza de la Constitución.
The exhibition ‘La Seda’ consists of 50 works by Malaga artist José María Baco. It chronicles the life of the silkworm, the fine threads of silk and their use to manufacture beautiful fabrics. He uses colour to transport the viewer to the orient and materials such as linen and even plastic to highlight his works.
Les Chant des Morts

The exhibition consists of works created by Picasso to illustrate Le Chant des Morts by Pierre Reverdy.
Pop of the twentieth century
Malaga. Until 14 July. Antiguo Mercado de Mayoristas.
The exhibition consists of 60 contemporary works by artists such as Mark Ryden, Haroshi, KAWS, James Jarvis, Erik Parker, Hajime Sorayama and Keiichi Tanaami and Malaga artists Javier Calleja and Julio Anaya.
Pedro de Mena Granatensis Malacae

The exhibition will consist of 63 religious works created by sculptor Pedro de Mena y Medrano.

Banksy The Art of Protest

The exhibition is La Térmica’s most ambitious to date and includes iconic series such as the portrait of Kate Moss in the style of Warhol’s Marilyn, The Bulldog and serigraph of the series Girl with Balloon.
‘Colección MC Málaga, el arte de coleccionar’

The new exhibition consists of works by artists such as Félix Revello de Toro, Eugenio Chicano, Enrique Brinkmann, Jooaquín Peinado and Carlos Durán. It has been organised by the Diputación and the Fundación de Málaga with the backing of Unicaja Bank.
