Mijas holds its first cheese and wine festival

The Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas will be the venue, with the festival running from 26 October until Sunday 28 October

The Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas will be the venue for Mijas' first wine and cheese festival from today, 26 October until Sunday 28 October.

There will be twenty-two stalls open from 1pm until midnight selling a huge variety of both wines and cheeses, not just from Mijas but from all over Spain. There will also be a seating area with tables for people to enjoy tastings of the products.

The stalls are all new and designed to represent the typical white houses of the Mijas area.
