Veteran French musician Michel Legrand, guitarist John Scofield, American singer Madeleine Peyroux, legendary drummer Billy Cobham, Italian pianist Stefano Bollami and one of the revelations of the last season, the Manchester trio GoGo Penguin, all will be playing at the 32nd Malaga International Jazz Festival at the Teatro Cervantes between 29 October and 4 November.
The programme moves from jazz fusion to the avant-garde of the genre, bringing together legends of the past with modern contemporary jazz.
The 32nd International Jazz Festival opens with a family concert by the orchestra and quintet from the Centro de Artes y Música Moderna de Málaga (CAMM) called Un Viaje Hace el Jazz and closes with a concert by the legendary master of improvisation John Scofield, who will play on Sunday 4 November with his new band Combo 66.
All concerts start at 8.30pm except for Un Viaje Hace el Jazz which starts at 6.30pm.
