Age Concern Fuengirola/Mijas is celebrating its fourth birthday with a special gala show at the Tamisa Golf Hotel on Sunday 23 September. The event will begin at 2.30pm, when welcome drinks will be served, before guests enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment supplied by some of the Costa del Sol's top performers. The show will start at 3.30pm and a cold buffet will be served during the interval.
Ricky Lavazza, one of the coast's favourite singers, will entertain with his varied vocal style, which covers a multitude of classic ballads and pop songs. Known as the Welsh Italian Stallion, Ricky Lavazza has built up a large following of fans on the coast and has become renowned for his renditions of Tom Jones' most popular hits.
Veteran singer/comedian Mario Ross, who will supply hits from the 1950s to the 90s, has been entertaining audiences in the UK and Europe for more than three decades and he has established himself as one of the most respected performers on the cabaret scene.
The two entertainers will be joined by Laura Elen, a talented singer whose show includes everything from rock and roll and country and western to opera.
Tickets cost 15 euros, five euros of which will go to Age Concern, and there will also be a prize raffle to raise extra funds for the charity. Tickets are available from various outlets along the Costa del Sol, including the Age Concern shop in Los Boliches and the reception of the Tamisa Golf Hotel.
