Award-winning classical musician, Roger Morelló Ros, will perform two concerts on the Costa del Sol this weekend. The 25-year-old cellist will team up with German pianist, Alica Müller, to perform a soiree of chamber music featuring the works of Brahms, Debussy, Prokofiev and Schumann.
Roger Morelló Ross, born in Reus, Tarragona, in 1993, has performed all over Europe, appearing in festivals such as the Musethica International Chamber Music Festival in Berlin, the Aurora Winter Classic Festival in Sweden and the Echo Festival in Italy.
Receiving numerous awards for his talent, this young maestro is fast becoming one of the most popular classical musicians in his field.
Alica Müller studied in Cologne and has won several awards, including the coveted César Franck International Piano Competition, an international platform that encourages new young pianists to transcend their own capabilities.
Organised by Project Music Management, the first concert will take place in the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas in Nueva Andalucía on Friday (today) at 8pm. Tickets cost 50 euros and include welcome drinks, canapés and a three-course dinner.
The second performance will be held in the Avanto Restaurant in La Cala de Mijas on Sunday 9 September at 8.30pm. Tickets cost 25 euros and include welcome drinks and canapés. Ticket reservations can be made by phone (644 24 23 65).
