Malaga's Roman cultural past is brought back to life

  • This year, from 11 July until 4 August, a new cycle of plays will be performed in the ancient amphitheatre

In 2013, the initiative to make use of Malaga's famous Roman monument, the Amphitheatre in Calle Alcazabilla, began. A programme of cultural events and activities has taken place every year since and includes concerts, flamenco and Roman theatre.

This year, from 11 July until 4 August, a new cycle of Roman plays will be performed in the ancient theatre.

All shows start at 10pm and general tickets are 20 - 25 euros. The retired, students, unemployed and holders of the 'Tarjeta Joven' only pay 15 - 20€. Children's tickets are 12€ and FNAC and Corte Inglés card holders pay 15 - 20€. There is also a group discount.
