Panamanian Rubén Blades heads up the programme of this year's Malaga Terral Festival which also includes Uruguayan Jorge Drexler, the Belgian pianist and composer Wim Mertens, Briton Ala.Ni and Portuguese Salvador Sobral and Teresa Salgueiro.
Where. Teatro Cervantes, Malaga.
What. A series of 10 performances of modern and contemporary dance and music including flamenco.
When. 22 June - 7 August.
The female voices are provided by Rocío Márquez and Soleá Morente together with the Granada band Napoleón Solo; Paula Domínguez fronts Flamencohen, a poetic/musical show which honours Leonard Cohen with adaptations based on the biography by Alberto Manzano.
This year's edition, which takes place at the Teatro Cervantes in Malaga, will end with Grito pelao, choreographed by Rocío Molina and with singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz.
