Nerja Cultural Centre is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a number of special events throughout May.
The building was officially opened on 16 May 1998 although it opened its doors for the first time on the 9th. This year, the municipal band will be performing a special programme including music from Star Wars and La La Land, on 18 May.
A photography exhibition showing images from different events that have taken place in the cultural centre since it first opened will run until 30 June.
Other highlights include an Eric Clapton tribute, 'Ocean Boulevard' tonight at 9pm and the Marty Elkins Jazz Trio tomorrow evening, starting at 9pm.
On Saturday 19 May Nerja will be celebrating its own Noche en Blanco, when there will be performances around the town, including at the cultural centre and on the Balcón de Europa, throughout the night. The Nerja Museum will also be offering free entry and guided tours.
From 24 until 27 May a dance festival will take place at the cultural centre and with open air performances on the Balcón de Europa.
