The Andalucía Performing Arts Society (TAPAS) is hosting a special St George's Day garden party on Monday 23 April. In true English style, sandwiches, afternoon tea and a collection of homemade cakes will be available. The event will offer an afternoon of fun and games, along with a typical singalong of pub songs, where audience participation will be encouraged.
Entertainment will be supplied by Alhaurín El Grande-based singer, Helen Rush, known along the coast for her outstanding talent as a solo artiste and for her performances with The Andy Peacock Big Band.
There will also be a fancy dress, where prizes will be given for the most original St George's Day costumes.
The event, which begins at 2pm, will be held in Betty's Salon de Té in Cártama Estación.
Tickets are five euros for TAPAS members and six euros for guests, and will include a free cup of tea or soft drink and cake on arrival.
Tickets can be reserved on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: 687 783 309.
