  • Works by 26 artists are on display at the Ateneo in Malaga

The Málaga de Festival (MaF) and the Ateneo de Málaga gallery are hosting a collective exhibition as part of the MaF programme.

The title of the display is 'Vik Muniz and Buster Keaton: Art as experimentation'. Muniz regarded Buster Keaton as one of his main inspirations when he created his works. Twenty-six artists artists from diverse disciplines, including Cyro García, Equipo Lalufa and David Burbano, will be demonstrating the links between Brasilian artist Vik Muniz and Buster Keaton, star of the silent screen. The result is an eclectic and interesting mixture of styles and interpretations.

The Ateneo is also holding another exhibition over the same period entitled Mascotas de Cine (Cinema Pets). The exhibition unites photographs of pets with film for the Málaga de Festival Cine en Español.

Admission is free.
