Cártama is to host the second edition of the Classic Car Show in aid of breast cancer on Sunday 15 April.
Organised by ANVER, the Malaga-based association against breast cancer, and Cártama town hall, the event will be held in the Parque de los Naranjos in Cártama Estacíon.
The motor cavalcade will begin at 10.30am and will showcase more than 20 vintage, sports and classic motor cars. In addition to the impressive collection, which last year included Cosworths, Morgans and Cadillacs, there will be free paella and children's entertainment. There will also be a bar and street market offering products typical of the area.
Those wishing to register their cars for the show should contact the association on 630060444. Registration costs 15 euros per vehicle.
The event will be used to highlight breast cancer and offer information and advice to those suffering with the disease.
ANVER, a diminutive of Antonio and Veronica - creators of the charity - is a non-profit organisation designed to help women face breast cancer.
The organisation arose out of a promise Veronica made to help women who suffer or have suffered from the disease, after she overcame two breast cancers at the age of 28 and 31 years.
