Lovers of classical music will be in for a treat when the Atis String Quartet visits the Costa del Sol this month.
Founded in 2017 by students of the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Cologne - Europe's largest academy of music - the quartet consists of promising young musicians from different renowned orchestras and ensembles.
The show, which will present students from Taiwan, France, Germany and Spain, will demonstrate the universality of music and the fact that the standard of excellence in classical music knows no boundaries.
The quartet, who will perform a collection of chamber music, including works by Haydn, Schubert and Shostakovich, can be seen at Vic and Jon's Gastro Bar in Marbella on Monday 19 March. Tickets for the show, which begins at 7.30pm, cost 30 euros.
The show will also be presented at the Avanto Restaurant in La Cala de Mijas on Thursday 22 March at 8.30pm. This event will also include the launch of a new book, Mastering your Emotions by Masha Malka. Masha Malka is a successful entrepreneur, best-selling author and international speaker. She has delivered workshops, seminars and provided personal training and coaching in the field of success and the skill of learning since 1998. Tickets cost 38 euros.
Organised by Project Music Management, both events include drinks and canapés.
