Lovers of West End and Broadway musicals are in for a special treat this month when the popular 'Stars of the West End' show returns to the coast for a five-date tour.
The tour has been organised by BigM Promotions, who, following the success of last year's sell-out shows, decided to bring the musical extravaganza back to the coast for the second consecutive year.
The performance will feature many of the most popular songs from best loved musicals, like The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Oliver, Chicago, Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music.
The show will present three principal performers from the West End, each of whom will perform hits from the productions they have appeared in, as well as songs from other celebrated stage shows.
Mike Sterling, who has appeared in more than 1,000 performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, will be joined by Kate Galston (Chicago and Mamma Mia) and Lucy Van Gasse (Wicked and The Sound of Music).
The tour will kick off at the Felipe VI Auditorium in Estepona on Wednesday 15 March. The following night the show can be seen in the Salón del Mar in Torre de Mar and on Friday, at the Moonlight Lounge in Benalmádena. The Avanto Restaurant in La Cala de Mijas will host the show on Sunday 18 and the final performance will take place in La Sala Banús on Monday 19 March.
Tickets for the shows, which begin at 9pm, cost between 21 and 30 euros, with the exception of La Sala in Puerto Banús, where tickets costs 55 euros and includes a three-course dinner. For more information and tickets, see www.costadeldisco.com
