Cudeca has organised a new monthly fundraising event that will be held in Frederick's bar in Benalmádena Pueblo. The first instalment, which will take place on Saturday 24 February, will present an afternoon of sport, followed by live music and karaoke.
Kicking off at 2.30pm, the event will offer the Six Nations Rugby matches between Wales and Ireland, followed by the clash between Scotland and England. Free nibbles will be served and there will be a raffle with the prize of a food hamper in aid of Cudeca. The music begins around 7.30pm, when international reggae star, Jens Malling, will perform songs from his latest recording, Simple Pleasures. He will also perform popular hits of celebrated reggae musicians. With the recent release of his first album and the official launch of his music video for the song Sunny Day, Jens is about to embark on a European tour. Originally from Denmark, the Malaga-based musician is one of the most celebrated performers on the reggae scene and this gig will be a must for the lovers of the Trench Town sound.
Throughout the night there will be a charity karaoke session, where singers donate 50 cents to Cudeca for each song they perform. Further events are planned for Saturday 24 March and Saturday 28 April.
