The Ateneo Art Gallery in Malaga is hosting a new exhibition of works by local artist, Luis Bujalance.
The work of the Malaga artist conveys expressionism based on the impulses of his own personality according to his mood. It is precisely this quality that gives his art, submerged in the purely abstract, its expertise in the application of consciously chosen colours and the combination of the most diverse materials and techniques. Each work is accompanied by words, phrases or strategically placed numbers that add an air of mystery to his art.
The exhibition, which focuses on the relationship between the human beings and nature, engages a combination of paint, photography, wood and asphalt to create the possibility of expression and communication.
Luis Bujalance, who holds a degree in fine arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, began his career in the 1990s and has had several exhibitions in Norway and the USA.
This free exhibition, which began last week and continues until Friday 23 March, can be viewed between the hours of 6 pm and 9.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
