The musical extravaganza begins on Saturday 20 January at 8pm, with the 1970s blockbuster movie Grease, although this is no ordinary screening of the film. The Grease Sing Along, which has toured all over the UK and Spain, invites the audience to dress up as their favourite characters from the original movie, which starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. This is an audience participation event and so wannabe singers and dancers are encouraged to join in during the show. The lyrics of hits such as You're The One That I Want, Hopelessly Devoted To You and Summer Nights, are displayed on screens so the audience can sing along.

The Grease Sing Along has proved to be extremely popular and fans attend dressed in poodle skirts, or wearing the famous T-Bird jackets as worn by the film's male heartthrobs.

The movie was released in 1978 and became an instant success, launching Olivia Newton-John in the role of Sandy, and John Travolta as the cocky Danny, to stardom.

The fun continues at midday on Sunday 21 January, with El Mundo de Fantasía, a children's musical featuring singers and dancers recreating popular characters and scenes from some of the best known Disney movies.

Produced by Boulevard Productions, the musical focuses on the dreams of a girl named Alice and her imaginary friend, who embark on a journey into a magical world where dreams come true.

Tickets for both shows cost between 10 and 13 euros.

The highlight of the weekend will be the performance of Michael's Legacy, a show endorsed by the Michael Jackson Fan Club in Spain as the best musical show about the King of Pop.

Created by the Jackson Dance Company, the tribute show simulates one of Jackson's live concerts. The show has already toured many of the main cities in Spain receiving rave reviews for its replica stage sets, costumes and dance routines. The dance company consists of nine performers who perfectly recreate Jackson's intricate dance routines, supported by a musical spectacle that will offer a little of the magic offered by the man himself.

The show's protagonist recreates Michael Jackson's every movement and gesture to the extent of perfection. The production includes many of the star's most celebrated hits, like Thriller, Bad, Smooth Criminal and Give Me One More Chance, which he recorded with the Jackson Five.

The Jackson Dance Company is made up of a cast of more than twenty people, including dancers, actors, singers and technicians, which together, present a truly amazing tribute to the world's most celebrated artist.

Tickets for the show, which begins at 8pm on Sunday 21, cost 20 euros. Reservations for all performances can be made online. Tickets can also be obtained from the box office of the auditorium, or at the door on the day of the performance.
