The Muestra Infantil de Málaga (MIMA) show has over 60 activities both fun and educational for children.

DETAILS

  • When. Until 4 January from 11am until 9pm except 31 December and 1 January.

  • Where. Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, Malaga.

  • What. More than 60 different activities for children aged from 4 to 12 years.

  • Tickets. 8¤ for 4-12 years. 4¤ for adults and 3¤ for pensioners.

This year, the Museo Casa Natal de Pablo Ruiz Picasso, the Colección del Museo Ruso de San Petersburgo and the Centre Pompidou have cultural workshops to help children enjoy and learn about art.

The latest technology can be tried out in the 'Gamer Camp' area and stand which has video games and computers but also virtual reality goggles which are proving to be very popular.

Also new this year is a Magic workshop and an ice-rink and the ever-popular face painting, crafts, trampolining and bouncy castles haven't been left out.

The police have brought along one of their patrol cars and a motor bike so that budding young police officers can see what being a policeman feels like and the Fundación Unicaja basketball team have a practice area with hoop. Various members of the famous basketball team will be at the show to sign autographs.
