Highlights of La Herradura's Christmas activities include a Christmas sweet-making workshop today, Friday 15 December, at 11am and again at 4pm in the civic centre.
On Saturday 16 a Christmas concert will be given by the Bahía de la Herradura choir at the San José church at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, on 22 and 28 December, there is the opportunity to join in with traditional Christmas songs, accompanied by the zambomba (a traditional Andalusian musical instrument), and typical Christmas products will be on sale.
The town's live nativity play will be performed in Plaza de la Independencia on Saturday 23 December at 8.30pm and on the same day in the civic centre, a musical adaptation of Disney's Frozen will be performed.
The royal post man will be collecting letters for the Three Kings from the civic centre between 5pm and 7pm where there will be a range of children's activities and a New Year concert will take place on 4 January at 8pm at the civic centre. The Kings' Day procession will take place on 5 January from 5pm.
