Lovers of live music will enjoy the winter programme of concerts presented at the Que Bowling ten-pin bowling alley in Las Lagunas throughout November.
Organised by Martyn Wood, the man behind Big M promotions, and sponsored by Central FM, the winter programme will present some of the most popular tribute acts on the Costa del Sol.
Under the banner of Que Music, which began in September, a broad selection of local musicians and bands has been lined up, including Los Thunders, Honkey Tonk Cats, Queen of Magic and the Metal Gods.
Los Thunders, an ACDC tribute band, will perform on 3 November, while the following week will present local Rolling Stones tribute, Honky Tonk Cat. Also scheduled to appear will be Queen of Magic, on 17 November, and the Metal Gods, a heavy metal band who will serve up some of the most classic rock anthems on 24 November.
The concerts begin at 9.45pm each Friday night, and there will also be a Abba tribute gig on Saturday 12 November. This promises to be an excellent night for lovers of disco, as this act covers classic hits like Dancing Queen, Mama Mia and Take a Chance on Me.
Entry to all performances is free. The venue holds around 300 people and there is ample free parking for around 500 vehicles.
Those who like bowling can take advantage of their special offer of a game of bowls, a hamburger and a beer for seven euros.
Big M promotions is currently organising more tribute concerts to continue throughout December and the winter months.
Que Bowling is situated on the Camino de Coín (Mijas golf road) in Las Lagunas, in front of the Aldi supermarket.
