A charity rock concert for diabetes research has been organised by Diabetes O, a local diabetes association in Torremolinos.

Diabetes O and Torremolinos town hall have joined forces with the cultural association, Artemolinos, to present a night of live music performed by some of the coasts top tribute bands.

Four bands will perform at the concert, which will be held in the Plaza de La Nogalera in Torremolinos on Saturday 22 July.

Rock for Diabetes Aid will begin with a performance by AsereKuba, a local group renowned for their rhythmic style of Cuban music.

They will be followed by TNT, the Malaga-based ACDC tribute band who will rock the square with classic heavy-metal anthems like Let There be Rock and Highway to Hell.

The night will continue with a tribute to one of the greatest bands in the world when Queen of Magic take to the stage to deliver some of the best known hits of Freddie Mercury and Queen. The concert will be brought to an end by The Cops; a tribute to another of the UKs iconic 80s rockers, The Police.

The concert, which is free, starts at 6pm and will finish at 1am.
