British singer, Lemar Obika, is to perform a one-off concert in Estepona this Saturday, 24 June.
The 29-year-old BRIT-award winner, known simply as Lemar, has had a string of chart hits in Britain, Europe and Australia, including seven top-ten singles in the UK.
He rose to fame after finishing in third place on the first series of the British talent show, Fame Academy, and since then he has sold over two million albums worldwide.
Lemar, one of the most successful artists to come out of a television talent show, has won two BRIT awards and three MOBO Awards.
He has promised to sing most of his greatest hits at his gig in Estepona, including 50/50, and Dance with You.
He will be acting as ambassador for the Diamonds and Pearls Events Management Company and the evening will include performances from soul band, Brown Sugar, and Rachelle Fisher, who will also be hosting the event.
Lemar has been helping with a new Costa del Sol talent initiative called Rising Stars – organised by Louise Gibson and Adele Blaney, co-founders of the Diamonds and Pearls.
Tickets for the show, which will begin in the Teatro Auditorio Felipe VI at 7.30pm on 24 June, cost between 25 and 45 euros. A VIP group box for eight people is available for 500 euros.
