The idea behind the exhibition is that when humans perceive an odour, it activates an area of the subconscious related to the emotions to a much deeper level than visual or auditory perception.

In the exhibition, historical events and famous personalities are converted into olfactory experiences using notes much like a perfumer uses to create new scents.

The aromas of saltpetre, tobacco, jasmine etc have been used in association with a selection of contemporary works entitled olorVISUAL. Among the art are works from national and international artists such as Alberto Corazón, Joan Hernández Pijuan, Hugo Fontela, Agustín Ibarrola and Hannah Collins, among others. The collection demonstrates various artistic techniques: video, sculpture, painting and photography.
