Finca El Sueño in Coín, the equine charity’s headquarters, has recently incurred severe damage caused by heavy rain.

The charity has suffered with the problem since last December and has needed to rely on the help of volunteers to repair broken fences and clear mud and water from the property’s grounds.

The open day was scheduled to take place last weekend, but the event was cancelled due to the heavy rain and wind.

Susan Barns explained the difficult situation they are faced with and she expressed the necessity to raise sufficient money to restock lost hay and repair severe damage to their property.

The event will begin at 11.30am and continue until 4pm. Tickets cost five euros and a buffet and drinks will be available.
