The Ytre SulØens Jazz ensemble with Tricia Boutté will be performing at the Centro Cultural Villa de Nerja in Calle Granada on Wednesday 1 February.
The jazz ensemble, one of the most emblematic bands from Norway, has been performing around the world since 1973. Their mix of tradjazz and New Orleans has become easily recognisable on TV and radio across the continent.
The seven-piece ensemble which includes the banjo, clarinet, drums, trombone, trumpet, tuba and piano, teamed up with New Orleans-born jazz vocalist Tricia Boutté in 2001. The band have a huge repertoire and despite more than forty years in the business, they continue to evolve their style to include pop, rock, opera and gospel.
