Following the surprise breakthrough for far-right group Vox in Sunday's Andalusian election, around 2,000 people joined an antifascist protest in Malaga city centre on Monday.

Similar demonstrations took place in Granada and Seville as protesters, the majority of them young people, attacked the far-right policies of Vox. "Andalucía is no place for fascism" was one of the slogans chanted, as the crowds extended their criticism to the PP and even to the PSOE government who they blamed for allowing the growth of Vox.
