Marbella this week has once again become the home for the Spanish national football team - in this case the women's team. The team led by Jorge Vilda arrived by train from Madrid on Monday and headed straight to their training hotel, where they will remain until next Wednesday.
A total of 24 internationals and stars from both the Primera Iberdrola and other major European leagues have been training at the Marbella Football Centre ahead of two friendlies at the municipal stadium.
Their first opponents will be reigning European champions and world runners-up, the Netherlands, on Friday, at 7pm. On Tuesday, also at 7pm, they face Mexico for the first time.
Both matches will be played behind closed doors.
