England Over 70s captain Howard 'Dasher' Conrad amazed everyone by walking out of hospital a fortnight ago
Popular walking footballer and captain for the England Over 70s team Howard 'Dasher' Conrad is on the road to recovery after contracting Covid-19.
The 75-year-old was very seriously ill as he battled against the virus and spent time in hospital with a heart and lung problem.
However, 'Dasher' wouldn't give up the fight and fought back and amazed everyone by walking out of hospital a fortnight ago.
He will now take time to recuperate and then get back to fitness and to his beloved walking football.
