After eight games without a win, Malaga returned from Ciudad Real with all three points on Sunday, following a 3-2 victory over La Solana.
The bad state of the pitch (with one wing virtually unplayable) contributed enormously to a lack of rhythm and individual errors all over the pitch.
That said, it was a quick counterattack from the hosts that caught Malaga out after just 10 minutes - and Paula finished off the move.
The same player could have made it two but her freekick came back out off the crossbar.
It took Malaga half an hour to compose themselves and that was precisely when the equaliser came. A poor clearance by the defender was seized upon by Tati who calmly finished past the keeper.
The visitors were much improved in the second half and quickly took the lead when Encarni tapped home the rebound after Edna's shot was stopped by the keeper.
The third also came courtesy of Encarni who applied a finish to a cross from the right to seal victory for Malaga who still made things difficult for themselves as they conceded to Irina with nine minutes to go.
The win doesn't lift Malaga out of the relegation zone, however, but keeps them within touching distance of safety.
