With a four-million-euro revenue stream lost because of the coronavirus pandemic, Malaga have had to be creative and have come up with two new campaigns to get fans involved and to raise much-needed cash.

Though fans are still not allowed inside football stadiums, the club have launched a 'season ticket' with a twist. Holders last year can automatically renew for free and it entitles them to a 10-per-cent discount in the club shop, among other benefits, plus no loss of their existing privileges.

That is the 'Viento y Marea' package. For further privileges, including priority access to tickets when stadiums do gradually open, a premium version is available for 49.90 euros and is available to anyone.

The second campaign is for so-called 'Patronos malaguistas', whereby donations of more than 50 euros can bring various benefits (commemorative mask, access to the Academy plans, sponsorhip of the Genuine team etc). Those with deeper pockets can also become a club director for the day for 10,000 euros.
