  • An agreement with regard to them depositing 5.4 million euros still hasn't been reached and the Qataris have until now ignored all requests to appear

The judge investigating the case against the Al-Thani family for their alleged mismanagement of the club on Thursday gave the Qataris three days to arrange an appearance by videoconference.

An agreement with regard to them depositing 5.4 million euros still hasn't been reached and the Al-Thanis have until now ignored all requests to appear.

On this occasion, however, the judge has said that she would issue an international arrest warrant should arrangements for a videoconference not be made.

Ousted club president Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani this week broke his silence on the matter, tweeting: "What the administrator is doing with the first team, our biggest assets, is a crime. Him and his masters do not care about saving MCF only about trying to make it bankrupt to try to steal it away. I hope everyone finally sees what these people are really up to... they will destroy MCF just to put money in their pockets!!!"
