Malaga coach Sergio Pellicer gave a positive summary of the first day back at work on Saturday. He said: "The most important thing is that we can see the light after so much darkness. We can start over again."
Pellicer also praised the work of the club's maintenance staff: "We've moved from the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium to La Rosaleda in record time. We have everything we need to comply with the security protocols and carry out our work so hats off to them. Without them, it would have been impossible; they are real heroes."
On Tuesday, Pellicer also confirmed that the results for all of the players and staff that took PCR tests came back negative. He said: "With all the information we're receiving, we have peace of mind."
Despite things being "strange because of the circumstances", Pellicer praised his players for having arrived back in good shape despite being confined for almost two months.
