  • The club already has plans in place for the return to training, with La Rosaleda and its annex ready for use

A date for the Malaga players to return to work has been set, Monday 4 May, and the club has been busy finalising plans this week in order to safely accommodate them.

After nearly two months confined to their homes, the team's work will be divided between La Rosaleda stadium and the adjoining Annex, with the two fields in use at the same time, allowing up to twelve players at a time to train while maintaining at least a four-metre distance.

The players will arrive every fifteen minutes and will also leave in the same way, getting ready and showering at home.

Until then, the players will continue to train at home, as much as possible, with coaching staff using technology to coordinate group sessions virtually. It is hoped that the players will arrive on 4 May in better condition than they would usually for the first day of pre-season.
