Malaga head coach Sergio Pellicer acknowledged following Friday's match that a share of the points was a "fair" reflection on the game, during his post-match press conference.
"The most important thing is that the team were able to overcome adversity," he said, in reference to going a goal down.
He acknowledged that both teams could easily have won the game. "It was a game with chances at both ends. If you analyse it bit by bit, you can see that both sides took turns controlling the game," he said.
Pellicer wasn't shy in giving praise to his goalkeeper: "There were moments when it was 0-1 that Munir kept us in the game."
He also defended the way in which his side conceded, saying: "As much as you practise them, defending set pieces is always very difficult. This is why it's often the deciding factor."
